Talise is a Canadian songwriter rooted in old-time, blues, and Americana. Accompanying herself on banjo and guitar, she writes and performs with a spare, intimate sound and a deep, dark-toned voice, carrying songs shaped by honest storytelling and the stark beauty of the northern landscape.Outside of music, she spends much of her time learning and practicing bushcraft and traditional land-based skills, a way of life that continues to shape her perspective and writing.
